St. Emilion : On Saturday, I took Julie and Andrew to St. Emilion. It’s only a 30/40 train ride from Bordeaux. The town was the location of the Monk Emilion who lived in a cave there, and the town is home to the Monolithic Church. It’s carved right into the side of the hill of the town. The town is probably more well known for its wine production, and it’s evident from the fields of vines that stretch for miles through the region. Even though it rained for a while, but we still had a really great day!!
